From the inside gate Asakara King should show enough dash to hold the lead, with pressure from Tacit. TROVATORE (2) added to his impressive record with a win over 1600m at Listed level at this track at his last appearance before a break 12 weeks ago. Has a strong first-up record with two wins from three runs so he is likely to figure in the finish. LOGI LEON (14) scored at Listed level at Kyoto last time out with a neck to spare over today's journey. Has a good record at this trip with a win and four placings. Grade 1 placegetter who is sure to measure up. ECORO BLOOM (3) is a progressive four-year-old entire who resumes from a break of a year, his last appearance being a win over 1600m in the G2 New Zealand Trophy (NHK Mile Cup Trial) at this track at his only run of that campaign. One of the main contenders. ASAKARA KING (1) opened this campaign last start with a second, beaten half a length, in the Grade 3 Hankyu Hai over 1400m at Kyoto. This sets up nicely.
