Plenty of pace on show, headed by Key News, Just Var and Corrupt. PLUS FOUR (3) found plenty of betting support when winning fresh-up over this course and distance last start. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and the combination can follow up with another victory. JUST VAR i(2) is a winner of his last two starts over 1400m on the Standside course. He is likely to race on the speed and can bring up the hat-trick. CORRUPT (4) stayed on well after a slow start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. He returns from an 11- week spell and has plenty of scope. If not in need of the run, he should be finishing in the money. KEY NEWS (1) finished third over 1475m at Vaal at his most recent appearance. Resumes from a spell and having won in that state previously is worth considering.
