PRIZED JEWEL (5) is dropping down in class after a couple of fair efforts in tougher fields at Esperance. She has a good draw, and a peak effort would take her close to winning this. On top in an even lineup. RULING DAME (9) ended her last campaign with 3 second-place finishes in a row on this track. She comes to hand quickly and will be ready to rumble fresh up with a home track advantage. Watch closely for any positive market moves. MOUNTAIN ASH (1) just battled over a mile at Esperance last start and was racing in better company there before that with mixed results. If he puts it together on the day, then he is more than capable of a top 3 finish. HOT PUDDIN (8) had the blinkers off last start and turned his form around with a tight nose victory at Esperance. He has 2.5kg less to carry and can repeat the dose. KELLY'S LI ZA LU (7) caught the eye with a nice late finish at Esperance last start. She will be peaking third up from a spell and can figure in the top 3 this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prized Jewel each way.
