Genuine tempo from Metus leading Meisho Gigas. MISHIRO WAY (10) was impressive last time over 1400m at this track, scoring by 2 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from three starts. Right in this. LAPLACE (5) has put together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on March 23 over 1400m when he got home by 4 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. METUS (2) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1400m at this track. Should be prominent from the low draw. In the mix. ANIMAL BOSS (1) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fourth over 1400m at this track last start. Ryotaro Oka has registered two minor placings when on board. One of the better hopes.
