Solid tempo with Cool Machine to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest.
CASCADE MOUNTAIN (1) continued his fine run of form when beaten just a neck in a Class 1 over the mile at Quirindi six weeks ago. May lack a little race fitness but this race is far easier. Looks the goods. BOLD ROUGE (5) didn't run a strong 2000m at Taree last start so forgive that run. Returned from a similar break to today's five-week gap two back at Grafton and got the prize over a similar trip. Poses a genuine threat. WOTASTATEMENT (9) has been racing well before taking on a better race last start over this distance at Coonamble where she tired late to finish midfield. Nicely in after Hunt's claim and back in this company looks a sound prospect. READY FOR LIFT OFF (4) won at Tottenham picnics last time after a decent effort in a BM50 at Warren prior to that. Should be thereabouts. LADY DEVINE (7) has been racing poorly but back in grade from a better draw she might turn things around. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cascade Mountain to win despite a gap between runs.
