Madrina should lead but there are a few other speedy types who can keep her honest. Hard to rule many of these out. THAMES (9) found the line nicely to get up for second over 1300m at Sandown last time out. Fitter for two runs back from a break. Faces her stiffest test but with just 54.5kgs she comes right into calculations. Consistent filly MCKEYLA (5) was only 1.1 lengths behind the promising Clean Energy in a Group 3 at the Valley a fortnight ago. Continues to raise the bar deep into this prep. In the mix again. MADRINA (7) was poor at Moonee Valley last start after a decent opening to the campaign. Might dictate here and give some cheek. SATIN STILETTO (6) dropped out when resuming in the Inglis Sprint at Flemington recently. Pushed Lazzura at Listed level last prep so she has the class to play a big role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 9,5,7,6.
