Saxon Blood has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. Tough race but looks a good opportunity for ROGAN (7) to get off the mark. Resumed in tougher company and wasn't disgraced when sixth at Cranbourne but will strip much fitter and looks ideally placed here second-up. SAXON BLOOD (8) returns from a long break. Fitted with two hit-outs for the longer trip fresh and showed enough at first campaign to be more than competitive here. COLT FORTY FIVE (5) was safely held at Sandown on debut then improved nicely second time out. With further upside looks a leading player over the longer journey now. Just needs a good steer from the draw. TRANSLUCENT ANGEL (15) was well beaten last time on slow ground but fitter and draws well this time with the big claim. Can improve sharply. SUGGESTED PLAY: Like Rogan out in journey.
