A solid tempo anticipated with Platinum Lies and Rich Minx ahead of I Am Voodoo and Maguro. PLATINUM LIES (5) was straight back into the winner's list, leading and winning a 68 comfortably at the Sunshine Coast. That was expected, and she keeps a 2kg claim back in grade. Uses the inside gate and can go on with the job. SPIRIT OF MAC (8) resumes for a sharp local yard. He's had a couple of trials and flies on the poly. Draws for a soft run, and the betting will be key. RICH MINX (6) resumed as a short-priced favourite at Doomben and folded up from the speed (vet cleared). She's come off a big trial win there and will present fitter. Has a handy 3kg claim today and is worth another chance. SPIRIT OF BRODIE (2) resumes and is proven fresh. He maps well and likes poly surfaces. He's been off the scene for a while but deserves a market watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Platinum Lies.
