Chad's Me Dad is the probable leader in the small field.
DUBLIN RED (4) has recently joined the Brendon Fiore stable and was formerly trained on this track. She has been placed twice fresh up in the past, and a 1.5kg claim drops her weight down to 53.5kg. Hard to beat. NATURAL GEM (6) ran on late when finishing third at Belmont 10 days ago over 1200m. She has the benefit of a 4kg claim, and she is nicely placed to take this out. ALOTOFBANTER (1) has been runner-up in both of his starts for new trainer Fiona Scott at Esperance. He has a good draw and is set to go one better. MY BOY CHRIS (5) has been thereabouts at Esperance this year and has won on this course in the past. He has his best draw in some time and can figure in the top 3 this time. KAKADU (2) is a locally trained veteran resuming from a spell. He will be suited by the small field and could lob into a top 4 finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dublin Red each way.
