Alice Springs Toyota Pioneer Sprint 1200m Track: Good Clear (Max: 26) Rail: True. |

Good pace from Ideas Man, Delago Lad and Dakota Lee. DAKOTA LEE (2) raced wide fresh up from a tough gate but was still far too good for most of these, scoring by 5 lengths. She has another wide gate but is unbeaten in 11 starts here, including 3 over the trip. She is a fantastic sprinter who should just win again. LUMBER PUNK (11) followed up his third in his penultimate start with a dominant win last week by 2 lengths. This is much tougher, but he has 4.5kg less to carry, and can make his presence felt again. IDEAS MAN (1) was runner-up behind the top pick when resuming from a spell. He normally improves quickly with racing and has top 3 claims again. GREAT BUY (3) was in the money last start when second at this track over 1600m. Looks a top contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dakota Lee to win.
