Expecting a strong pace headed by Curry Legend, Kwik Az Hell and Hellarama. Big field and plenty of pressure. NORTHUMBRIA (1) has been racing in great form, scoring two back at Birdsville before finishing runner-up last time at Winton, beaten a nose. Drawn to stalk the lead and expected to go close again. SMASHING ROSIE (6) missed the frame but wasn't far away last time in Tamworth for the previous stable. New yard and this is easier. Blinkers added and should run well first try this circuit. ITHINKBETTA (9) tackled a dirt track for the first time last start when successful over 800m at Twin Hills, scoring by 3 lengths. This is tougher but low draw and among the winning hopes. VONK (7) found winning form last time at Ewan in a much better run. Tough galloper who can run well again. VIKING VALOUR (8) was runner-up fresh off a long break and will strip much fitter. Among the hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Northumbria.
