Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of first starters. SWIFT ENDORSEMENT (13) is an interesting proposition. He debuted in a 2yo city race at Morphettville in February and was sent around a $4.80 chance. The run itself was just fair behind a handy one but he should have made improvement and finds a suitable assignment for the top yard. NEW CHARACTER (12) started $3 on debut at Ballarat Synthetic when showing early speed, perhaps going too keenly and fading late. He'd trialled very well prior to that and can improve sharply. EVIL LOVER (5) was okay fresh at Ballarat Synthetic when in the market and should strip fitter for that. Tough draw but has claims. COMME CI COMME CA (1) debuts for the Bobbin yard having won a couple of trials including the latest at Warrnambool impressively. Can win. WEIGHTLESS (11) is an each-way chance off a sound run against better company at Cranbourne. SUGGESTED PLAY: Swift Endorsement on top.
