Expect a genuine pace with plenty of speed engaged. MAGIC COOKIE (2) was well in commission last time and kept coming when fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Backmarker who keeps coming. Best form puts him right in this. T O GLASER (4) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt at his latest appearance. Has the speed to be prominent. Sure to be in the finish. MEISHO KAKUUCHI (11) finished third when resuming two runs back at Kyoto Dirt then progressed nicely last time out to score by a neck as favourite over 1400m at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is right in contention. B B CLOSER (3) resumes after a break of nine weeks. Looking to emulate his debut win over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt to kick off last prep. Promising type. Has the talent to take this out.
