Hoping for a repeat of his debut win over 1100m at Monbetsu to kick off last prep. Comes to hand quickly so a bold showing is expected. J L BITT (9) scored by 7 lengths first up from a spell last time out over 1600m at this track. Has a very good record here including four wins from six starts. Likely to feature. T'S A LIGHT (1) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1400m at Ohi last start after being prominent at the corner, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Ohi the run before. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. TAKENO ROULE (7) resumes after a break of five months. Did win at her only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 1100m at Monbetsu. Makes plenty of appeal.
