Easy Red to take charge ahead of Glowshift at a good tempo. POL ROGEUR (5) went close at Werribee two starts back before a 1L defeat over 1400m at Cranbourne last start. Peaks now and draws low. Well placed to win. ROUGH ENUFF (6) went well in town and then disappointed on a heavy track at Pakenham. He also peaks and has shown enough to suggest he's a threat. EASY RED (2) made an encouraging debut, finishing 0.9 lengths from the winner over 1300m at Swan Hill. Was expected to win and will keep improving. OBON (4) had been well educated and was only beaten 2.5L at Yarra Valley on debut. Deserves consideration with the extra fitness. GLOWSHIFT (3) was well supported at Terang on debut but needed it. has a low gate and Stackhouse today, and quick improvement is likely. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Pol Rogeur.
