BOLD BUCKS (9) slow into stride on debut and closed late for a respectable fourth over 1000m at Scone in a Super Mdn. Fitter now in an easier contest. Leading player. PONZI SCHEME (10) Profiteer gelding from a Shocking mare on debut for the Beer and Carpenter yard. Impressed in both trials and capable of taking this out. SILVERWATER KID (4) came out quickly from the wide gate on debut before he folded up in the straight with a dismal sixth over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Likely improver with the key jockey change from the low draw. DANCER'S DELIGHT (3) even effort on debut when sixth over 1000m at Canberra. Deserves another chance on the back-up.
