Good pace headed by Privateer, Sassidora and Le Notre, with Rose Sangria and Zouie close by. LA VELOCITA (3) needed it on debut and then improved sharply, narrowly beaten over 1100m at Pakenham. Gets in light again with the 4kg claim and fitter, she can go one better. LE NOTRE (4) was in contention all the way and fought on for third last start over 1200m at Cranbourne. Can improve off that and will likely settle forward again. Has serious claims. SASSIDORA (7) was on speed last start and did a good job, beaten a nose over 1200m at Yarra Valley. Has Stackhouse aboard today and should get every chance racing at peak. ROSE SANGRIA (1) just missed on debut and then resumed with a 1.5L defeat over 1100m at Pakenham. Won't have to improve much to be in the finish. HEAD CAPITALIST (2) led beaten 3 lengths first-up over 1206m at Kyneton. Maps well and has more to give. Deserves consideration.
