Expecting Marilyn's Edge to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. Competitive. MARILYN'S EDGE (7) hit the frame when resuming in stronger at Caulfield Heath and then pushed over from a wide gate to lead at Yarra Valley and was swamped late. Presents fitter and is likely to have an easier race today. Has more to offer and can get the job done. AFFIRMATIVE LAD (5) drifted well back from the inside draw first-up before working home fairly over 1000m at Ballarat, as favourite. Has a handy 3kg claim today and is proven second-up. Has more up the sleeve and should go close. YEAH RIGHT (4) failed to live up to market expectations last start when out of the placings over 1000m at Sale. Was pressured on the speed and had come off a solid effort in town first-up. Has an awkward gate, but expect a much better effort. DOUBTLAND DIVA (6) also draws out and is better than the first-up run suggests. Led and won a Maiden here easily on debut prior, and the 2kg claim assists. ZOUROSA (9) resumes and deserves a betting watch. SUGGESTED PLAY: Marilyn's Edge appeals most.
