NICCY'S AFFAIR (9) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by 2 lengths at this track and distance last time, building on a narrow first-up defeat. Keeps improving and stays down in the weights. Can go back-to-back with average luck. PRINCE (1) was heavily bet to make the hat-trick here over 1100m, but disappointed. Was found to have an issue and has been given a 43-day freshen. Draws inside and flies on the fresh side. He can bounce back. HEZANGELIC (2) is a leader busting to win. Went close here over 1100m last time and keeps the handy 3kg claim. Deserves another chance. TOP OF THE POPS (11) is hard to catch, but his effort here two back would give him a hope. SHAKA ZULU (4) has talent and is worth a look over the shorter sprint.
