Expecting a strong pace headed by Toa Raiden, Amai and Dantsu Fighter. YAMANIN AD HOC (4) went fast early over 2000m at this track last time and went on to score by 5 lengths. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. TJUTA (14) went forward when resuming last start over 1800m at this track and held on well for third, beaten 2.75 lengths. Has to overcome a tricky draw. Stakes winner this trip. Nice return and fitter again. Among the top chances. CULMINALE (8) finished sixth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by 3 lengths as public elect over 2000m at Hanshin. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves plenty of thought. SHADOW METEOR (1) is having her first run since January 24. Has a strong record when fresh with two wins from four runs, the most recent over 2000m at this track at the start of last prep. Sound prospects.
