Has impressed at the Cranbourne jumpouts and has the early speed to manage the awkward gate. Suited and the 2kg claim brings him right into it. LIM'S TEIDE (1) raced forward and just missed over 1000m at Cranbourne and then finished 2.25 lengths adrift over 1000m at Yarra Valley in stronger than this. Steps up to 1200m for the first time and has the inside gate and handy 3kg claim. Peaks and this looks winnable. AUSSIE ADAPTOR (3) won at Stony Creek and then placed close-up there, but couldn't back it up at Bairnsdale following. Makes it tough for himself with slow starts, and is sure to appreciate the longer sprint. Has claims in this lineup. LISTENING IS DOING (4) was safely held over 1200m at Bairnsdale, in tougher. Did a good job winning his Maiden there prior and keeps the handy 4kg claim. Keep onside. GRACIOUS DIVA (6) is back in trip freshened, and this is easier than Caulfield Heath. Consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brullen if the betting suggests stable confidence.
