A race that lacks pace so expect a muddling tempo at best. Many of these are a query at 2000m, including COYOTE (1) who has not raced beyond 1500m. Decent effort last start to be beaten under three lengths in a Rosehill Highway. Genuine type who should get away with this if he relaxes and runs the trip. TOKYO QUEEN (6) was ridden on the speed but lacked the change of gears required over 1600m at Hawkesbury last time out. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and a first try at 2000m looks a reasonable option. DISCO PRINCE (2) came from last to get up for fourth at his latest appearance over 1750m at Muswellbrook. Rock hard fit after four runs back and is now crying out for this distance. BOLD SPLENDOR (4) was given an eight-week let-up after a modest effort over 1812m at Port Macquarie. Has no trouble with today's journey but fitness may be an issue. REAL HOUSEWIVES (5) goes up 600m after a comprehensive maiden win at Armidale recently. Took forever to break through but might kick on now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Coyote on top but there are plenty of question marks.
