Without much in the way of early speed it might be left to Hellish Lee to take charge. HELLISH LEE (10) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished half a length away in fourth last time out over 1400m at Warrnambool after being prominent at the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PETIT EAGLE (8) finished third at Balaklava two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1600m at Balaklava, finishing seventh. Better placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. TAAJWAR (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 3.5 lengths away in eighth over 1400m at Mt Gambier. Likely improver with strong prospects. GIDDY UP BANKCHECK (4) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Craig Stewart yard. Finished off last campaign with a fifth at Wodonga three months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Can return with a bold run. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Hellish Lee.
