Just a moderate tempo without an obvious speed influence. CERULEAN MINAGIRU (10) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on April 19, finishing tenth and beaten 15 lengths over 2400m at Hanshin. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Shizuo Oshima. Comes here with definite claims. BACHELOR PARTY (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1300m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. TAISHO ROMAN (5) was never really in the hunt last time, drifting back early and winding up 6 lengths from the winner in ninth over 1400m at this track. Well placed in this line-up and is among the better chances. MY HOME HEROINE (3) again failed to feature last start, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1300m at this track. One of the better hopes.
