Plenty of pace from the outset with All In Vain and Life Sentence leading the charge. WINTER NIGHTS (6) gets the nod having just prevailed by a nose on debut at Echuca, getting home well from a wide gate. Takes on some more seasoned types here but the bar doesn't look insurmountable and he draws well in six. NO GREATER VUE (5) has been in goo form this time in, winning fresh and close up in two runs since. He looks to get a good trail and has strong winning claims. SECOND FIX (3) won well at Swan Hill last time in slightly easier company but has run well in better races in the past and can do so again. MISS TRUSTFUL (8) presents third up having improved nicely for second behind an in form horse at Kilmore last time. She can roll forward for the 4kg claimer and give a sight. EARLY WARNING (7) is fresh and back in trip for this but will be staying on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Winter Nights on top.
