EVOLVING (3) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on December 21, finishing 18th and beaten 22 lengths over 2200m at this track. Returns in a winnable race. Leading rider aboard and rates highly on best figures. DOLCE RETURN (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 2000m at Kyoto, beaten 4.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. DEL CIELO (5) has been thereabouts last couple and will be winding up late. BUNNY RABBIT (4) has not appeared since he finished tenth over 1600m at Chukyo on December 6. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
