Wire To Wire has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. SACRED INFERNO (9) raced without luck in two runs back and expect to see him closer to the speed today. Slow into stride with a battling eighth over 1175m at Albury in a Super Maiden. No excuse today and the tongue-tie goes on. STERN REMINDER (3) blinkers go on second-up after he gripped on late with a tough second over 1200m at Wagga. Poorly drawn again and shapes as the main danger. WIRE TO WIRE (5) failed to back-up the good second at Cowra two-back with a plugging sixth over 1300m at Goulburn in a Super Maiden. Comes back a level and capable of testing this field. HELIGAN (7) unlucky not to have already shed his Maiden tag in ten career starts. Nice return when savaged the line to finish third over 1000m at Albury. Extra trip in his favour and clearly come back well. CABLE KING (2) resumes without a trial and must be kept safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sacred Inferno and Stern Reminder shape as the two leading chances.
