Black Storm has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. The big one of the weekend, which looks to be one of the most open Swan Hill Cups in many a year. CARTOON GRAVEYARD (3) might be hitting it at the right time, fourth-up off a fine effort over 1600m at Caulfield. Beaten a lip by Jimmy The Bear there, and that horse would start favourite in this, so it looks the right form. ELECTRIC IMPULSE (4) gets here second-up, off a fine fresh run at Sandown when she caught the eye late. Gets to 1600m now, draws to settle closer and has won three of five second-up. SEAFALL (6) is starting to build a picket fence and while the recent wins have been in easier races than this, she's been winning comfortably and draws to get her chance to keep the winning run going. PRECIOUS CHARM (2) is proven in better races than this and put the writing on the wall with a recent trial win. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cartoon Graveyard each way.
