Moderate pace with Gioiello taking up the running ahead of Yamanin Galassia and Yumewa Hateshinaku. Weak race where GIOIELLO (5) gets chance. Has recorded three minor placings from three starts this preparation, the latest when third as a well-fancied conveyance over 1800m at Kyoto. The one to beat. EVER GROOVE (6) resumes. Wasn't far away at last run before a break, finishing fourth over 2000m at this track ten weeks ago. Good record course and distance and has form fresh. Capable of playing a major role. YAMANIN GALASSIA (8) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 1800m at Nakayama when resuming from a spell, beaten one length. Eternity since a win but nice return and will give a sight. WIN LIBERATION (1) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 1800m at Kyoto. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
