GM ACCOUNTING & CONSULTING 1200m Track: HVY9 True |

Hot pace certain with Miss Harley Quinn, Hard Attack and Maria Pilar keen to take up the running. BEST ROSE (4) was runner-up in her penultimate start at Ashburton, and then just battled along the inside part of the track at Riccarton last time out when finishing sixth as the favourite just over 5 weeks ago. She still has some strengthening up to do, but this field is weaker than her last outing, so follow your money, and put her on top. WINTER BLAZE (12) has been freshened since a last start fifth over 1400m at Ashburton, and she has been held back for some softer tracks. She has a handy gate, and she is worth including in all top 4 combos. MARIA PILAR (14) was unable to run on fresh up in heavy ground after settling too far back early on that day. She has some upside, and will carry 4kg less this time. Stick with her on an each-way basis. HARD ATTACK (13) has been poor since posting an overdue maiden win at Ashburton in early April. Kylie Williams rides from a wide gate, and she is worth one more chance.
DRAGON BISCUIT (1) SUGGESTED PLAY: Best Rose is the one to beat.
