Queen Selyse should have enough pace to lead a low-pressure contest. BLOOD BROTHER (5) missed by 1.4L at this track and trip two back before being slowly out last start and failing by 4.6L. The form out of that has been solid and Faithfull hopping on board is a big tick. Makes plenty of appeal today on his recent form. PRINCE OF BONDI (2) has had a few chances but wasn't far away over 1400m at this track last time out. He finds a suitable race this time around for Staples and the map looks favourable for him. Can make his presence felt again. SAINTY CULLITY (1) will find this an easier assignment on resumption after some handy efforts at Pinjarra and Bunbury at the end of last campaign. Fiore's booking is a good push for his chances and he can play a leading role. QUEEN SELYSE (7) gets the blinkers on first time today and McNaught replaces the apprentice hoop. Can feature in the finish. GRACEFUL LASS (10) gets the blinkers on for the first time now and looks an improver second-up into the campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blood Brothers can shed the maiden tag.
