Moderate pace only with Pure Makena leading Lily Pinscher. AILE PLAISIR (5) lifted strongly only to just miss as favourite last start over 1400m at Morioka Dirt. That made it three placings on end so he is close to a win. Nicely placed to play a major role. PURE MAKENA (2) turned in a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at Morioka Dirt over 1400m. That made it two seconds in a row so the hoof is on the till. Should be in the finish again. RAIKONO HIKARI (1) finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1400m at Morioka Dirt a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in journey today. Ryo Kobayashi who has three wins when partnering stays on. Can be involved. BONNE JOURNEE (7) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish seventh at Morioka Dirt in a disappointing performance. Capable of better.
