A solid tempo on the cards with Granite Rock leading the way. MAGIC MIKEY (4) proved too strong two runs ago at Albany. Safely held last time out when fifth over 1900m at Albany, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a suitable race back on top of the ground. Expecting a much better run this time around. GRANITE ROCK (2) was prominent at the bend but was disappointing over 1406m at this track last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TOBIAN (7) finished in seventh over 1600m at Port Hedland at the latest appearance just a week ago. Likely improver with top-three prospects. REGINALD (1) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1406m at this track. Solid top-three candidate. OUR SHILLAYLEIGH (6) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Magic Mikey can put his best foot forward.
