MAGIC COOKIE (10) is back from a spell of nine weeks and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1300m at this track. Goes well here and has won course and distance. Expected to feature. POD BEL (6) lines up on the back of a 2 length fourth over 1400m at this track. Has a sound record here with two wins and two minor placings from seven starts. Leading contender. HO O PREMIER (14) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing sixth last start over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt seven weeks ago. Drawn out but does go back and work into his races. Among the main hopes. PETIT BEURRE (15) went back early from her wide draw over 1400m at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Among the chances and will be tough to stop.
