Bari King to take charge ahead of Luzente at a strong tempo. BARI KING (3) is a talented colt who has been in the money at both appearances. Has not been produced since he scored over 1300m at this track on December 20. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Could go through his grades this time in. NIGHT SNIPER (1) closed last prep four months ago with a ninth but was a winner over 1300m at this track prior. Likely to be in the finish. LUZENTE (2) was well fancied last time out but after being in the firing line on the bend disappointed in finishing 11th. Capable of better. VIGIL (4) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and found the front, holding the lead for most of the way and sticking on well to finish second over 1300m at this track. Could give backers a sight again.
