GEORGE & MARY HENNESSY 2200m Track: HVY9 True |

Genuine tempo from Rufus leading Power Of Two. RUFUS (5) needed the run and did nothing when making his South Island debut on the poly track at Riccarton just over 3 weeks ago. He steps straight up to 2200m, and he is worth another chance in a very thin field. DANIELLISH (6) drops back from BM65 company, and she has put in the odd good run this year. She is another who gets her best chance to win a race. FULL OF GUSTO (1) fought on well, and peaked late fresh up at Riccarton just over 5 weeks ago. He steps up 600m, and can improve to figure in the top 4 here. Stick with him. NO TRUMPS (2) has looked a lot better in his last couple of starts on the poly track at Riccarton. He should have no fitness concerns, and with a cosy run from the pole position, he won't be far away. POWER OF TWO (4) tries a middle distance for the first time, and he is open to plenty of improvement. Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Daniellish each way.
