Expecting Purr Sefanee to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. Impossible to go past QUAFFTIDE (2) who has been in rare form including winning both tries this circuit at last two starts, the latest a Class 4 over 1420m as the favourite. Course and distance winner the start prior and will be hard to hold out again. BERSERKER (4) has been a victim of Quafftide at the last two starts, going down narrowly two back then a close-up fourth last time. Meets the winner 1.5kg better at the weights and with a soft run could well turn the tables. LONTANO (7) was well beaten in the same race two back then not far away latest. Has the ability and among the main hopes. JUST A NEEDS (1) is closing in on a way and is one of the chances. SIR JAG (8) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hard to go [past Quafftide.
