Genuine tempo with Beilstein leading the way. KASHINO FLEX (4) continued his strong form with another good effort last time out when second at this track and trip, beaten 1.5 lengths. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and three minor placings from seven starts. Bold showing expected. BEILSTEIN (5) boxed on to finish second last start at this course and distance, beaten 1.5 lengths when fresh from a spell as favourite. Ended last campaign with a string of wins so with added fitness on his side he could return to winning form. ORENO AIBA (7) really dug deep to salute by a nose three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Distance specialist with 10 wins and five minor placings from 22 runs and is one of the prime contenders. T O SMITH (6) was far from disgraced when second last start over 1800m at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. One of the hopes.
