Lots of speed predominantly from William Robertson, African Pride and Chapbook. MOUNT PINATUBO (2) was well held over 1160m in Group 2 grade at this track last time out. Should be poised just off the lead. Will prove tough to beat. KARATE KID (6) finished fifth two runs back at Greyville then improved last time out to score by a head as favourite over 1160m at this track. Philasande Mxoli gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Likely to be there at the finish again. CHAPBOOK (4) did little and finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1200m at Scottsville last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Scottsville the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. WILLIAM ROBERTSON (1) was beaten 13 lengths into 14th in a 1200m contest at Scottsville at his latest appearance. Finds a nice race and can atone.
