Expecting Strike Eagle to take up the running with Brat and Beau Factor close at hand. BRAT (2) failed to finish his race off at Alice Springs last start, but had an excuse after forcing the pace 3 wide the whole way. He is reunited with Dakota-Lee Gillett, who knows him well, and with some better luck in the running on this circuit, they will be hard to hold out. RHESUS (5) has been an easy winner of his last couple of starts at Darwin in easier fields than this. He is perfectly drawn in the pole position, and the hat-trick beckons. THROW AT DA STUMPS (4) sat just off the pace before peeling off the leaders back to let down and win a nice race at Alice Springs nearly 6 weeks ago. He is normally thereabouts at this level, and a similar effort would see him right in the finish again. MATHEMATICS (3) is a durable veteran who has been mixing his form this year. He is always a chance and is worth including in all combinations. BEAU FACTOR (1) fought on well after having a tough trip at Alice Springs last start, and with Sonja Logan back in the saddle, he won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brat to win.
