Genuine tempo with the speedy Vonk leading the way. MISS LOTTIE (11) took a while to get the maiden out of the way but got the job done first-up when smashed from $2.15 into $1.45. She'll need to lift again, but with that confidence-booster out of the way, a good draw and 2kg claim, she rates very highly. WHITSON (6) has been up for a while now, but last start proved he was still holding together well. Only needs to hold that form to be a key player in this. MENTALIA (5) was too bad to be true last start but was good first-up the start prior and is drawn to be prominent. ZOUSINGER (14) has been good in two runs back and is another who has drawn well with a claim. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Lottie to win.
