Abundant pace from Kazeno Runner, Generale and Eifer Glove vying for the lead with Immortal Bird on their backs. KAZENO RUNNER (7) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt after being in contention on the bend. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GENERALE (11) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 1150m at Fukushima Dirt, making it two minor placings in a row. Expected to cross from wide out. Strong prospects. IMMORTAL BIRD (3) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish second, beaten only half a length, over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be competitive. DADDY'S TRIP (6) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Should be thereabouts again.
