Just a moderate tempo headed by Smelter, Sethfire and Reel Graceful.
STYNSY (5) has finished fourth on the turf here in both of his starts back from a spell and has hit the line strongly on each occasion. The extra furlong third up is ideal, and with the addition of blinkers on for the first time, he will be the one to beat. SMELTER (2) did not settle at Ipswich over 2210m 12 days ago, and he will be spot on with his fitness third up from a spell. The blinkers coming off will help him settle, and he is good enough to win a race like this. ARTSPACE (1) only battled in the same race as the second pick last time out after finishing second on this circuit before that. He benefits from a 3kg claim and can make amends. Each way. SETHFIRE (4) has raced his way into form and improved to finish third in his first run over a middle distance on the turf here a fortnight ago. Ryan Wiggins sticks with him, and so do we. POLLY PRINCESS (10) ran on late against most of these 2 weeks ago when finishing sixth. The extra 200m will suit her, so include in all multiples. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sethfire each way.
