A solid tempo on the cards with Minnie Barows leading the way. MONONOFU GOLD (6) missed the frame last start over 1300m at this track when sixth. Best figures measure up and look for an improved run. TRAIN TRAIN (7) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fifth over 1300m here last time. Will drift back but could be hard to hold out. MINNIE BAROWS (9) returns from a layoff of three months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1600m at this track. Has to be respected. SWORD CUT (1) finished eighth over 1500m at Kawasaki at his most recent appearance on March 6. Now under the care of new trainer Shinji Kudo. Comes here with definite top-three claims.
