HULKAMANIA (1) is a consistent gelding who has a tremendous record on this surface and will be dropping back in class from his last run here 3 weeks ago. A 2kg claim will help ease his top weight burden, and with the winkers on for the first time, he will again be hard to hold out. BIRMINGHAM (3) saves his best for the poly tracks in Queensland and made it 2 wins in a row when scoring by half-a-length here 4 weeks ago. He has a nice swing in his draw and can complete a hat-trick. WEEKEND ARTIST (7) is still a maiden and will be racing out of his grade here. He has the pole position and is worth including in all combinations. PALANTUS (4) has yet to fire in 4 starts back from a spell this year and will be making his poly track debut. He is trained here and is worth one more chance. GRAND CRUSADER (5) battled on well enough for fourth here 3 weeks ago and has been improving lately.
