HONG KONG (1) ran below expectations last time at Vaal, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths starting at $2.70. Worth noting Gavin Lerena goes aboard. Faces an easier assignment so she is a major player. ROAMING SPIRIT (4) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Vaal with success over 1100m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Has the ability to take care of this field. GREAT NOTION (6) ran below expectations last start, finishing seventh and beaten 7 lengths at this track over 1400m. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
