Expecting Capital Diva to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. CAPITAL DIVA (8) is a promising local filly who was good enough to finish third here on debut. She is resuming from a spell that would have done her the world of good, and with a couple of trials under her belt, she will be ready to run a big race fresh up. TARMAC (5) won a trial before battling on strongly for a midfield finish fresh up on the Sunshine Coast turf track and has won another trial since then at Doomben. Hard to beat this time. LADY ALABAMA (10) has been showing talent in 3 starts at Grafton to open her career and will have the blinkers off for the first time. She has a decent draw, and the drop back from 1420m to 1100m will do her no harm. Each way. SMACKEROONY (3) is a stablemate of the second pick and will be making his debut off the back of 3 solid trials this year. He has the pole position and will be ready to rumble.
