Solid tempo expected primarily from Toller and Hirono La Mer. ALANA KOA (3) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Hanshin Dirt two starts back then got the job done by 7 lengths as public elect last time out over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Miyuki scored on him last time and retains the ride. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is capable of testing his rivals. HORTOBAGY (1) finds it hard to win with two victories from 24 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1900m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. PAKARANG (9) finished fifth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt last time out following a determined win two back. Good record at this journey with two wins and six minor placings from 11 starts. Major player. HIRONO LA MER (6) scored over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt at his most recent appearance on January 25. Can make his presence felt.
