Expecting Ange Field to take up the running with Danon Switch and Philip close at hand. PHILIP (9) closed the race off nicely to get up for third last start over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 2 lengths. That followed a win at Chukyo Dirt the start prior. Racing in great heart and once again has strong prospects. TOSEN SAUDADE (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m to make it four minors on end. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth serious consideration. ANGE FIELD (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1400m at this track after she was in the firing line on the corner. Has never missed the frame when third-up and is expected to run well. FUKUCHAN TOMEI (5) returns from a spell. Finished 14th at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep three months ago. Strong record with Christophe Lemaire aboard, including two wins. Keep very safe.
