Only a small field with Little Ditty likely to find a comfortable lead. PLAGUE STONE (4) is a durable veteran who has not been over-taxed with racing. He has been building his fitness this year and has the advantage of having won on this track in the past. He has a good draw and can take this out. ARROGANT MISS (5) is heading the right way with her form and won't have any fitness concerns after 4 runs back from a spell. Sonja Logan picks up the ride, and the pair merits healthy respect. ANKLE ROLEX (1) is a very capable gelding resuming from a spell, and he has won fresh up in the past. If ready, then he is among the hardest to beat. Watch the market moves closely. DR VENKMAN (3) ran the race of an improver when finishing fourth at Alice Springs 2 weeks ago. He is nicely placed in this and is worth including in all combinations. LITTLE DITTY (2) set the pace at Alice Springs last start and was only claimed late. Those front-running tactics are a bonus around this circuit, and he could be hard to peg back again.
